Drone Social Innovation Award

Just thought some people might be interested in this that cropped up on my Twitter feed the other day.

The Drone User Group Network's Drone Social Innovation Award is a $10,000 prize for the most socially beneficial, documented use of a drone platform costing less than $3,000.

I reckon this is an ideal challenge for Flite Test followers given their use of low cost materials and equipment.

I've already started thinking about some foam board UAV platforms. I'll eventually put some articles about my attempts on Flite Test and www.red20rc.org but for now, here are some of my Sketchup drawings.
