Dusty scratch build

Couldn't have Rip Slinger show up to my son's "Planes" birthday party and not have Dusty Crophopper as well. Thanks FT for releasing these, so much fun. The maiden of Dusty was flawless even with 15mph wind. Can't seem to find the guts to maiden Rip though.

Thanks! pretty easy build.

As far as the eyes go: four layers of paper covered with colored packing tape. white background / black circles / orange eyelids / clear finish coat.

Oh, ok. so just build it up with the tape. It looks like you printed it out and stuck it on. And by that, I mean it looks like the real thing. Great job!

Gorgeous finish. I think I am going to build a Dusty with an open cockpit to look like a vintage trainer.
