Dx6i RX compatability

Hi I am a Newby
I would like to know if anyone has information regarding RX compatibility for a DX6i transmitter to be used with a YACHT.
I was given the DX6i but I know that it was a good unit before and that the RX died and was disposed of ( not very clever)

This should work for a cheap price, or you could go with a spectrum one. anything that's DSM2 should work.
