Brushed ESCs are great for powering LEDs. I think there is a whole host of things/add ons that can be powered using a brushed ESC.

I think NiCads are only still used for gliders.

I still use both, speed 400s geared 6 to 1 on 3s lipo work awesome in David's Spitfire!
You have used servos? Servos just die, they never are retired! (Jk)
If you are giving these away, could you ship to say, Colorado?

Actually, if he doesn't have any speed 480s, nothing. I found a box of 400s in my hobby shop for a dollar each!

I come up with anything from $50 to $5.00 on the USPS site. It certainly isn't set up for easily finding the least expensive way to send something. I'm still trying to figure this out...
