FT Flyer with Led Lights

Four red lights in series – left wing
Four green lights in series – right wing
One Yellow light for the tail
One resistor from the battery and an extra resistor for the single yellow bulb.
Would like to tell you exactly which resistors I used but I covered them in heat shrink. I simply tested different ones out until they put out the right amount of light without getting hot.


Pretty happy with the results!

I love night flight!
Here is my modified EA Noob Tube lit up at the field.
I use the adhesive strip LEDs, easy to set up.

Your plane looks great!

Yeah I tried it out last night and flew for about 3/4 a battery. Worked perfect – stopped because of mist.

I also purchased some led strips and hope to do a versa wing with the lights up against the spar just like someone else did in the night flight thread. That looks so cool.

I also like how you differentiated the top from the bottom wing. Must make orientation that much easier.

This is my first of many, I'm sure.
