Master Series Style P-39 Beta

I am working on a master series P-39. This is my first Master Series style design. The plane can and has been fully built from the plans that are linked though some changes need to be made. The former skins may come out a few millimeters large. As of now you will need to cut your own battery hatch, though I plan to amend this soon. Tail servos will require custom holes as they are not currently in the plans. I also realized once building the aileron servos will need to be turned on their side as they are too tall to be inserted with the method I put in the plans.

The Build: I did not take pictures during the initial build but the plane is constructed similar to other master series models. As I update the plans I will include build photos. The main difference from other master series builds is that I doubled up the rudder and elevator. I also included a foam spinner. It held up for me but I forgot to put the backplate in the plans. The CG should be slightly forward of the front wing spar.

Flying: The plane flies great. It is not a beginner model. I may need to adjust the motor mount to better counter the torque roll on takeoff. Once in the air, it flies pretty smooth. I recommend having rates set as it is fairly nimble. Also, it stalls like a warbird so be ready for that. The plane carries its speed well so give yourself plenty of room for landing.

Channels: Throttle, Ailerons, Rudder, Elevator, Split Flaps

I am open to feedback as this model is still in Beta but do not be offended if I don't respond or do not incorporate your ideas as I am a fairly busy college student. That is why I am posting it in this mostly finished state.

Great build and we get plans!!! Thanks for sharing.

BTW the plans appear to be incomplete.

awesome design, Im building it now in a 130cm span.

But.. I have a question. Im trying my luck in designing a plane too but I get stuck at transforming the 3d design to 2d cutting template.
I use fusion360 hobby version.
How do you do that? what program do you use?
I really hope you can help me

I use solidworks. I have access to it through my university. Solidworks has a surface tool with an unwrap feature. That's how I get the complex curves to be flat. I know other people can do it with fusion but I personally have not tried fusion. You could check out this YouTube channel:

I ve seen that series on you tube but he uses exactflat and at this moment it seems that program doesnt work anymore.
