You're totally right guys, my mistake. Once you click again in the link shop, you go to a page where the plans can be purchased (including the Tutor plans).

Edit: once you log into FTCA site, click on the "Plans" icon. Then click AGAIN on the "PLANS" text link, and you'll be redirected to the plans shop, where you can find the Tutor plans.
I'm glad you asked this because I logged into to download the Simple Stick plans again and thought they'd pulled them.

So glad to see this response. I thought that I missed the chance. 🤦‍♂️ I should’ve looked more.

Glad you found them.
Dave Messina, FT CEO, has stated they are working on releasing more plans in the future. STAY TUNED!

I don't know if they're still running any discounts, but I got my Tutor plans for $6 with a discount. Then I just have Office Depot print the blue print. Depending on who's working, sometimes they don't charge it as color, since there's not much color to a plan. 😁

I updated the first post to include the plans that have been added to the FTCA web site. There is a note included that membership to the Flite Test Community Association (FTCA) is required to access those plans. The heading has a link to the FTCA Store with all the plans listed. Each entry in that section is also linked to the product page for that particular airplane. I hope that helps make it easier for folks to find what they are looking for. I am open to any suggestions for improving the lists. Thanks.

Putting those in the same page as the rest is great, thanks Sponz!

I wish I had kept the empty cutout sheets. But those are long gone . Oh well, lesson learned. Keep your empties for future tracing in case the plans do not exist!
I find it easiest to trace the actual part when there aren't plans. I tried tracing the holes but I found that more difficult. Also, when one traces the part you can add the lines etc. with a ruler at the same time. Then I cut the cardstock with an exacto knife just like I do the foam plans. I find it very relaxing like scratch building. I keep these templates in a folder made from a single piece of posterboard. Somebody on the forum mentioned that and it took me back to art class in 9th grade 100 years ago! It works great. I use a zip lock bag for the small parts. Had to buy another Zero, T-28 and F6F so that I could make these templates! Made the T-28 and F6F this way so far.

LOL! No, but somebody must have referenced it on the forum, probably you! I just print the plans you have put together on card stock and then cut them out with an exacto knife. If I use the plans directly on the foam I do a similar method to you except I use small pieces of blue painter's tape to hold them in place instead of spray glue. Then I cut the (red) inside lines first (then pin pokes for green and blue) and apply tape as I go to keep the plans from coming apart. Finally I cut the black lines from the inside out.

When making templates from the parts, I trace the part on cardstock. Then I get out my trusty ruler and mark the cut lines and reference marks and cut out the holes and the part with an exacto knife. The plans then are very compact and even can be folded where I've connected pieces of card stock together. When using the plans, I just use 3 small pieces of blue painter's tape to keep it from moving, trace the part and mark the reference points and then use my ruler to connect the dots. And finally cut out the part. Easier to do than to say.

:applause: - That made my day. :D
i would have been grand if you were able to add the Plans for the SBD Douglas Dive bomber you did. That was a magnificant aircraft

Just curious but is John still working on model development for newer models and such? I'm sure he's busy and has other things going on... Just seems like it's been really really quiet on that front for a long stretch.
