First Night of Combat

The summer combat schedule kicked off last night and what a blast it was. Tulip City Air Force hosted the first night and were fantastic hosts.
A great night of people with no shortage of laughs and crashes.. A handful of mid-air collisions as well. I can't wait until we all get together next week at Kent Radio Aero Modelers field for week 2.

It's kinda weird to me to see people flying something other than a Versa Wing for Combat, only because all the clubs here that I know that do combat use wings for it! Looks like you guys had fun doing it, though!

Actually, it depends! I've seen two streamers stuck to the back of the wings, and I've also seen a string that goes out to connect one streamer, straight out from where the prop sits, about a foot, foot and a half back. They do the one streamer to make it a little easier to knock someone out. Really just depends on your club's rules.
