2021 mini scout challenge!

Congrats to everybody who participated in this challenge! We saw fantastic work from everyone and I’m sure we all learned something new - I know I sure did! I’ve been super busy lately but I should be able to go through everyone’s videos/entries and post the results within the next couple days!

Alright here's my entry.

Weight without a battery is 46g and with is 51g.
Running a 1S system on a 220mah 45c.

Wow, that’s impressive - so slow!!

I did a little bit of work to my Scout and got down to 68g with the battery. Not the winning entry but I'm happy with it!

The video is a bit out of frame due to my camera man not being used to the camera and my crazy flying.

Way to go, it looks and flies fantastic! Great touch-n-go and spot landing.

First place goes to @Samh with an AUW of 49 grams!
Second place goes to @MooreRC with an AUW of 51 grams!
Third place goes to @BlockerAviation with an AUW of 68 grams!


Honorable mention goes to @Intashu with an AUW of 54 grams, but wasn’t able to fly it.

[Stress Test]

After breaking my air frame I pulled all the good bits and built another Scout, estimated weight? 537 grams, +/- 120 grams ...

I glided and flew it a bit today, but its like 11 degrees out so I didn't stay out long.

I built this at the beginning of quarantine but was never able to get the YouTube video out. I might revisit it. But it flew soooo good. 3ch and 12” wingspan

Is it fb of the foam plates? Pls, if at all possible, release the video.

Also would it work on the brushed motor you have in your jet and 30% spear?
