This is a super fun Lazer 200 profile 3D plane.
If you are looking to learn some 3D aerobatics this plane is for you, because it is super durable and easy to do aerobatics with.
Here are the specs for V1 and how I built it.
Specs
Wingspan - 32in
Amount of foam needed - 2 sheets
Motor - 2206 1450kv
ESC - 12amp
Prop - 9x5, 9x4, 8x3,8 SF
Battery - 500 to 800mah 2S lipo
Servos - 4x 9g or 5g
Receiver - any that is small and light and has a minimum of 4ch
This could also work with F pack motor and a 3 blade prop, but a lower kv motor is much better.
Build process
You can build it two ways, with paper or with tape instead of paper.
Make sure to build everything square!
With tape (highly recommended)
1-Start by cutting out all the pieces then remove the paper from both sides
2-Next tape both sides of each piece
3-Renforce hinges with hot glue
4-Glue all horizontal pieces together
5-Glue vertical pieces
6-renforce wings with wood or carbon tube or with struts
7-Install servos
8-Install motor and esc
9-Connect Receiver and program max rates on transmitter (40% expo is a good place to start)
10-Install prop and you are ready for maiden!
With paper
Same thing than with tape just don't remove paper.
AUW with tape is just under 250g with a 650mah 2S.
CG should be about at half of the wing cord.
If you have ANY question about the build process don't hesitate to ask
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you build this tell me and post pictures!!!
P.S. If you want tiled plans let me know.
