It will work but if the thrust tends to push the nose down you could use a movable surface in the outlet or just past it, operated by a servo and one of the Aux knobs on your Tx. A sort of thrust angle trimming dynamically albeit manually. A bit like a hovercraft rudder setup but horizontal rather then vertical.

since i just maidened my 2 new gliders today, i say yes it will!

make sure you have plenty of motor down thrust or lot's of up trim in elevators for launch. my pusher hit the ground on all 3 launches but then just skidded a long for a bit and sprang into the air. after that the thrust issue didn't seem to be an issue. as for throws, you can't have enough...
