Get some balloons and just put your electronics in them. That is what the boat guys do and it doesn't add any weight, but they do use waterproof and water cooled ESC's so I am not sure how it would affect cooling on an airplane...

I like the balloon idea. Makes sense. cooling of the ESC is convection so even just using hot glue or epoxy to seal off the ends of the shrink wrap sleeve where the wires come out will work.
