12th Annual Electrics Over Tidewater, 16 Sep 2017, Newport News VA

The 12th annual Electrics over Tidewater will be held on 16 September 2017 at the Newport News Park R/C Club field in Newport News VA. The event is AMA Sanction #17/418.

The event is inclusive of all electric aircraft: airplanes, helicopters and multirotors. FPV will be permitted and we will setup a multirotor course. Our field has a 400 foot long paved runway allowing for large scale and ducted fan aircraft. The event includes casual flying, foamy streamer combat, a drone scavenger hunt and night flying. Landing Fee is $15 and includes lunch. AMA required.

Another awesome year for Electrics Over Tidewater. The weather was great all day and through the night fly. Thanks to everyone who attended. Thanks to the sponsors for a great raffle. Nice mate. That looks like an awesome place to fly. Paved runway, separate section for heli's and even a track for FPV racing. Way to be an all inclusive club!! This should be the example for most clubs. Looks like everyone had a great time. Seems that one boy took away all the prizes hehe. Pro pilot in the making huh. :applause:
