If you're looking for a quick, fun, easy build try 13th Squadron's AT6 Texan. They even have a build video for you to follow on their website. Its going to be a while before I can paint this one and hide all my mistakes: it's too chilly outside and DTFB doesn't really like cold spray paint.

Finished painting the Texan, so here's a couple of glamour shots before it gets all dinged up. The hatch design is pretty cool and has room for a 4S 2200 battery. The wheel details are also pretty snazzy as well. It was a little tricky to find the CG with my primitive fingertip method- the short nose doesn't allow much wiggle room for balancing. I can't wait to maiden it and see what happens.

Looks awesome! I about went with this, but I am building his F6F instead. I also have plans for the mini zero too. I need to finish that F6F, I got bored cutting formers out. Thanks for posting and I hope your maiden goes well!

This is my 13th Squadron AT-6 Texan. I didn't put all the details in the plane as outlined in the plans, but I think she looks pretty good. I made the canopy removable. I had a tough time getting it to fit in the fixed position. But this gives me a little more room for stuff. It is a bit tight battery compartment, but I'm able to get a 4s 2200 mAH battery inside. Challenging build for me, but fun.
