@Wildthing - it is amazing how many paths can lead to the same place - this will be awesome with your 1mm foam!

The fuse for strength is actually getting 6mm foam, if I used that 1mm Depron I would had to have really thought out a structure that would require all it's strength internally and not rely on the shell. Plus I was ready for that project yet :D

Well inner structure is all done now , servos and tubing for the control wires also installed. Now I guess I have to cut out the fuse ;) . Oh and I didn't follow my own advice from courtesy of a slope/glider expert excellent advice to leave the horizontal loose so it is adjustable , just the way I wanted to run the cf rods I just couldn't come up with a way for me to install the it from the rear and leave it loose.

@Wildthing - I like the look of the skinless structure - I always seem to build from the outside in, it is cool to see it the other way around! Today I ordered some PLA for the RP machine and some new glue to test on joining parts - Next week I plan to have a crack at a V2 of the Hybrid Pheonix :D

Wedge filling is done , now to wait for the glue to cure then a good sanding. Still undecided if I will try the iron on covering for it, looks like a pain in the tush ;) It definitely would add strength but also weight.

Canopy latches installed and canopy pieces fitted, did have to re print the middle section as my cut out for the wing was off 3mm and it stood to tall. Wheel is also installed. Next to go pick up my folding prop and fit it with the motor into place plus pick up some nylon screws/nuts for the wing mounts.
