I don't think that is entirely accurate. They are streaming the podcast live on Tuesdays (FT Reacts with Lee and Stefan) and Thursdays (the regular FT podcast with Josh, Lee and Stefan) on multiple platforms simultaneously. You can catch it on Facebook and YouTube. On YouTube they simulcast on both the Flite Test channel and the FTCA channel. You can interact via live chat messages on both YouTube channels, but you can only donate from the main FT channel. I think that is due to the number of subscribers with YouTube. Not sure about the Facebook livestream as I've never tried joining though that one.

Don't know what to tell you - YouTube has had streaming chat forever, as well as the ability to donate, which bumps the chat message up. Alway has. No idea what Facebook even is, LOL.
And herein lies a problem. In 15+ years on youtube I've never seen a donate button.

You'll also notice the selected on screen comments have an icon that tells which platform the comment is from. In the screenshot you can see the small red YT icon at the lower right of Sponz avatar.
Apparently my YT channel is Gump'd up since I remember liking this comment on FB live 🤔
At ~30 minutes in, they selected a Fb comment, and put it on screen. It has the blue Fb icon.
