Worked good on the Mustang. I'm just starting a 200% Sea Duck with a couple 4250's I have laying around. Hopefully they are strong enough. But printing this new cool thrust stand now (someone was so kind to share 😄) so I can test them first.

Maybe you would like to enter the sea duck into this Monster airplane challenge!

so, this is the original mustang if you went this far to make it 200%, you could have modified it. i would have used the plans of the mighty mini mustang's fuselage so that you could put the battery in from above and also modify the power pod make it a fix power plant unless you are going to make more 200% models. on the mighty mini you put the battery in through the top and it has a lock that you slide and it locks a long while ago i made the mini mustang i have only made it once it refuses to give up. and it still fly's awesome.

Battery does go through the top. I hate bottom load batteries. Magnets hold the hatch in place. Did the power pod like this cause it holds the battery, but I did glue the power pod in so I didn't need rubber bands (sticks were used, but glued it right away) . Esc is on the under side of the pod.

Maybe I will, but not sure it will be done by the cut off. Just started on the blueprints yesterday.

The retracts are fixed. Little worried on the petg printed retract mounts. If they don't hold up and everthing else holds together I'll just order some aluminium ones from PCBway. Gonna fly it tomorrow.

What a beautiful plane! I’ve always liked the FT mustang 👍
She's my favorite flite test warbird. I've built a ton of regular size. I Haven't flown this one since I took out the Retracts on a curb. Was flying on a 17x8, gonna bump up to a 19x12 since I know now that the motor should handle it. Looking forward to it
