Josh should build a larger high performance FT3D. On a side note I'd be happy to give some tips for designing an FT3D V2.
I've been working on my own 3D Plane for the last year (originally based on the FT3D). It features some drastic design changes which improve overall performance and lower weight.
For reference I have flight videos posted on YouTube, mostly crashes, but has some aerobatics/hovering in there. Thanks for coming out to the west coast, my Girlfriend and I had a great time at FF West and hope to see everyone again next year!
