i am growing anxious because the previous two i built gave me such horrible oscillation, then losing the on when i tried the A3….i am legit anxious about how this one is gonna go…

Yeah should fly...Might need a throttle happy thumb but it should work! 🤣

man i am gonna definitely have to baby the throttle.

i am still waiting on a freakin prop adapter….once i know all it needs is a prop i will pick your guys brains on what prop to use. i got some steep 5” and some 4x45x3 and 4x50x3. i also got some 4.75x4.75, msy start there or a 5x5…

Try without a gyro!

man i aint that good yet 😑

what really just chaps my wee baby butt is both the planes i was just mentioning flew dead straight when i shut gyro off. both byme db and a3 gave oscillation, difference i can adjust gain on a3….i just never got that far cause the plane was fast as hell and completely outa control.

Practice makes perfect...BTW have you flown a trainer plane yet?

I "had" a 5x5.6 but I broke it... 😞

man, again, wish i flew at the same parks as you guys….i have at least 50 props in my prop bag….providing its not a carbon fiber prop or something i really need….i just let the guys i fly with take whatever they need.

I wonder if they buy props...or do they just wait until "Captain J comes around"! 🤣 🤣

i still use my smaller volantex planes to practice no gyro, actually spent about 30 mins today flying my little 400mm p51 with no gyro.

my issue with no gyro is getting out of trouble….i just am not good enough to get out of say a spiraling inversion if it had to be super fast.

Hmmm... maybe get a Millennium Flerken and a 2306 motor...I hit 88mph with mine today!

bro…..for the smaller stuff, most guys are flying amazon stuff, cesnas, shit like that…a lot take either a 3.7 volt 400 mah or 7.4v 400mah….every time i go out i come back with less batteries than i left with and less of the tiny props these planes use 😂😡😂

ha! thats a much better question even though we both knee what you meant…why? cause i always start in gyro and shut off once air born.
maybe start flying just no gyro period....It takes a lot more nerve (I know because I have finally gotten off it) and there isn't that assurance that if you get into trouble you can just flick a switch...i find though it seems smoother without it than flicking a switch for some reason...maybe less lag.
