Here is one for you, Mr Man, that should be in your sleeve to look at.
Build a delta (blended wing body) minus wing segment with 2 small rudders at deltas trailing edge and inside body sits a tip sidewards servo that has elevons outside of rudder for control.
In center, sit a geared inline motor with matching prop(FAI boys use for speed) to power it.

Why
A delta shape is a fast airplane.
A (BWB) body is a very low drag type plane that NASA is evaluating. They even built RC models to test. With that shape, very little internal construction is needed to keep it at high strength(no bending and twisting) so it is light.
2 small rudders for yaw or 1 above motor
elevons straight of servos- save weight and it is streamlined.
Motor faired into BWB(center rear) and with matching FAI prop, it should GLH.

Would be an offshoot of 2 BWB that I flew. Has real low drag and cleaned up, should be near the top.
Had enough of the speed, interested into stuff that doesn't exist. part of my boneyard.
Anybody, go for it.

Mr SPEED!
Does sound like fun, I’ve built a couple deltas in the past, but I’ve always wanted to make one without a fuselage, Maybe after this Hotliner……..
