I thought someone was going to hang a C sized pack on a racing sloper and use a high pitch prop. Or maybe that was the way the engineering looked to be headed before it jinked.

Yea quite interesting.......they choose to not build it out of carbon or fiber glass but instead choose to 3d print it ? Dont know if the plane can go 500 with a 3d printed frame but hey im not the expert here so lets see !

IDK...Honestly I think it could hold up to it, but we shall see if they reach the speeds they want....I am hoping to design a 3D printable Radjet so if I end up getting a 3D printer this fall I can test to see how it hold up... (Not to mention its just cool!)

Thats nice but I personally think that the landing gear idea was pretty smart and in one part of the vid they stated that they can reach 300 mph using a turbine that produces 6 kg of thrust.........I dont know about you but I find that a bit hard to believe I think it's possible if the airplane is light (3-4 kg say) but we will just have to see. (Oh and btw they aren't the first people to try to go 500 mph with a jet turbine I believe there is one guy who has already done it but it isn't officially confirmed)
