2025 High speed Challenge

Hmmm, wing separating on a low wing high speed pull up. Hmmmmm

Never had THAT happen, yet. High wing band failure, yup all the time, flutter failures, check. High speed oops impact, yes. Low wing disassembly without folding at center joint, nope cant say I ever saw that. Maybe not enough bands holding it on for starters? I use 6 #64

I am using a drone GPS that has a 10hz refresh rate so it's accurate!

Calibrated accurate or advertised accurate. They be different

This was a high wing

There were prop marks on the top of the wing when the pusher fuse passed the wing.

I 3D printed a load spreading piece for the back of the wing and between the wing bolts. Fixed this issue. Then I started ripping elevators off. LOL

🤣🤣 How weak is that elevator! Or maybe it's fast...

The weak spot is actually the glue that connects the horizontal stabilizer to the arms. I may try to resurrect what's left of my three nano Skyhunters for combat at flitefest. Same failed glue took me out last year after a great first combat. Spars and foam damage are extensive, so it will be a heck of a bandaid. But it's COMBAT!!!! Heck. maybe I should 6S it and blow it apart!!!

It's one for a drone, so it has to be accurate for position hold and WP mission ect.

Yeah i only have a 3/32" spar.....It was supposed to be 1/8" but I figured there was no harm in trying!
