You need to fire your camera man. Since you are going for speed it would be nice to see launch to landing, so get a camera and put it on your hat and center it. Since your eyes tend to follow the plane---, and why don't you make a pass or two close, so to show others what the speed looks like. Years ago, a forum member use to say it ain't so, until you show the video.
There will be more visitors to your U tube site as someone mention.

Yup, I've got a gopro mount on one of my hats 😁. I'll definitely try to do some low fast passes, as long as it isn't TOO fast for safety...

and I know who you are talking about: Pysborg.

Yeah....But the only problem with low passes at the speed it makes me feel like I am going cross eyed trying to keep the plane in focus when flying that kind of speed towards yourself....😂

You speed guys really need to keep safety in mind. Spinning props can kill or improper designed planes that fail can cause bodily harm. Wind turbulence stuffs many.
Your thinking should be, it is on track, no wobbles and I am headed for that area that I planned. Cycle that 10 times a second.

Most pilots can handle 100 and that's the limit. Some can pylon race at 150. And about 1% or less can do the 200mph thing. At AMA fields, you have to prove yourself and get a waiver to race pylon and also fly your jet. To fly faster, you need to be in the master's category of flying.
Remember a twich on the ailerons or elevator will set you off 50 or more feet if you are 200 ft in the air or 20ft, stuff happens.

My son and I were on the high speed circuit for 3 years so if you want some "stuff happens" stories, let me know. He was 10 years old and the first race was the NAT's.

Yep, I know (I wasn't the one who called for close passes)........so for right now because I know my skill is limited I keep it about 150 -250ft up to give me enough time to at least shut off the motor if something goes wrong.

Yup with Speed planes that might not be able to handle the G’s of a pylon race, 3 mistakes high is a must
