2025 STOL challenge

LG took 2 very very hard landings and tore the plane before anything else. Also, twin c radials on just about anything? Winning on the “STO” part of STOL. I had an 8ish mph headwind, barely spun up the motors for pre flight and the tail lifted. When it came time for the second takeoff, i went full send throttle (almost a mistake) and no joke there was 2ish inches of roll in the dirt. Obviously pics or it didn’t happen. So for all intents and purpose, i understand taking this as a fish story. I will find a way to prove it! 🤣

Who needs landing gear when you can just faceplant? Freak tail wind gust in the worst part of the turn to final and it just fell like a rock. It was pretty awesome tbh. Regardless, it was still a successful landing. I mean, I walked away from it. 🤷‍♂️

Mustang too... Once I get it tuned out. Might need a gyro. Launch was a bit wonky, probably just tail heavy, will rebalance and try again soon.
