I’m just going to put a 16x9x3 on top of a sea duck, just like the hat my mom used to make me wear, wait a minute…
When the time comes for takeoff, full up, then full forward. Maybe let the big prop free wheel for some james Bond gyro action. Then, and here is the tricky part, when it comes time to land, just ease her over and… WHAM!!! Lawn dart! I’ll win EVERY TIME!
*official whispers in my ear…
Me: WHAT?! It has to fly TWICE?!!!

Im probably just going to make make something that looks similar to a super stol which will have a 5ft wingspan, leading edge slats maybe, full span slotted flaperons, and too many vortex generators. might start designing it over the weekend. the flaperons will be kinda goofy but I think it could work

I worked part time at a local HobbyTown a few years ago, and on weekends I hosted Glider Build classes for kids and their parents, and even a few college professors. Each participant got a Sparrow-ish glider to build. The class taught them build technique, basic aerodynamics, and familiarized them with Flite Test, as well as giving them a discount on any FT products they purchased. It created a lot of new FT fans.
I cut 2 gliders from each sheet of fb, and there were about 150 sheets. In the next few months, we built every single one of them! I really miss doing those classes.
