I will probably just get the 12g metal gear ones as they are half the price of the 17g. (I think 9g would work but I don't want it to fail right in the middle of some very tricky flying.)

change of plans, im gonna build the one i was designing. only problem is i don't know how to make it into plans very well. it has a 3 foot wingspan and onshape's material analysis says that it weighs 270g. its not done but its close. if anyone can turn 3d models into plans dm me because I cant. im good at visualizing how plans fold into 3d but not the other way around and the flatten tool isn't helping

I just bit the bullet and bought some 17g ones ($28 for 4!) I really don't need them failing! (Oh....I hope my BEC can handle those....)
