2026 Flite Test Forum Challenge: Build-ruary contest

Did a maiden on both the Legacy and NNP-39 today. Went pretty good. They are still in one piece. Will post sometime this week. Gotta get the Mini Duck and Radjet painted this week and hopefully maiden next Sunday. Maybe even finish up the 200% Legacy for a fifth, started it in January, but put it to the side for this contest. Not sure if I will have the time for that one, but it would be cool to fly both Legacies side by side.

I grew up watching the hanna barbara races! Anytime i feel like i just did something dastardly… i imagine mutley’s laugh.

The Normal Puri is done (except color). I did a glide test. CG confirmed. Bound, balanced and ready to fly.
The giant one has a hinge solution, and the rib caps came in. It will be time to work the solution tomorrow. And work on the BF109.

The progress is good. Mer hot end is ordered, but i may not come i time to print the last bits of the 3D printed Quickie.
I may put together what i have though.

Finished the Duckling. Wind still won't cooperate, and got things to do tomorrow. So had to finish it in red in duck tape. Still not to bad looking. All servos install, and will put the control rods on tonight once they get here. Can't wait to fly her.

Gotta put a receiver in her (then glue the top hatch) and control rods. Then she's ready to go.
