This Eliminator build is probably gonna be a little slow as I'm super busy with work and exhausted when I get home, but I'll get it done eventually. Just ordered a pack of PLA+ and got my 3D printer logged into the network at my new place. Gonna need to order the power system soon.

Electronics are ordered for two planes, and my slightly damaged old Eliminator has been repaired and the GPS is in it for baseline runs.

I'm printing the final piece (forgot the tail fin) and cleaned up the other pieces earlier this evening. The new Eliminator will be ready for assembly once I cut the CF bits.

I'll be using the new electronics in the new Eliminator, but I haven't decided if plane 2 will be a twin and use the same motors or not. A hot EDF would be interesting... the fastest one I've had probably only hit 130 or so

Soooo I got a flight in with the GPS and I was actually getting 164mph, quite a bit faster than I thought.
Wow. Nice job. That sets the bar high. It's gonna be fun to try and beat that. We got some work ahead of us now. Don't know if my Radjet can beat that. I do have a plan B just in case. Do you have a video?

No video, I was out testing drones for work today and just threw the Eliminator in the truck with a battery so I could make sure the GPS module worked.

To clarify:

THIS WAS NOT AN OFFICIAL ENTRY, THIS WAS A TEST OF AN OLD AIRCRAFT

Good job man! What motor/plane was that?
Stunt Double Eliminator, 3D printed (PLA+) twin motor wing. Motors are Emax Eco II 2306, I THINK 1700kv (MAYBE 1900kv, but pretty sure 1700kv... they don't say on the bells) on a 6S 1800. Props are 5.2x6. The prop change alone made a massive difference from the 3 blade quad props I had on it originally.

I'll reveal the new power system when I'm ready for an official entry with the new bird.

I'm gonna need some flame paint!

I'm still debating on Entry 2. 99% sure it'll be foamboard, most likely either a more conventional twin or an EDF. I have a couple of ideas.

And y'all must be blind, that clearly says feet and not meters 👀

Do you use a flight controller on this, or just "grip it and rip it?"
No FC on this one. I'm planning on a Nemesis (similar design by the same guy, bigger FPV cruiser) with Inav or Ardupilot though.

These can be a touch sketchy to launch, but once they have enough air across the wings they lock in and fly amazingly well.

And spins with differential thrust are just silly 😁

Man, I can't wait to see the video clip!😁👍 Going to order myself a Corewing (basically Speedybee) F405 wing here...before they go up in price again!😆 (It will run Ardupilot and INAV)
