I had an idea of mounting a 5th motor to act as a booster for my 250 size fpv quadcopter. I searched the net and found an edf booster for a quadcopter. I thought that pusher props are much more efficient than edfs. With the help of my flying buddies, I went ahead with the project.
I mounted a zmr motor with a 4x3 prop (trimmed 5030 prop). Assigned the 5th motor to a switch that is close to my finger in case of an epic fail. Set the travel adj to 50% and hoped for the best..
its a very easy to build mod for an fpv quad racer. i would like to see you try it out and have fun with it.
it is capable high speed passes and surprisingly a high alpha.
