So im doing a little research before i purchase a 3d printer . i have visited the thingiverse site and there is a lot of cool stuff. and i have installed fusion 360 currently learning how it works i wish all this good stuff was available when i was younger, so my question is can you use any 3d printer to print any thing from thingiverse or all 3d printer have their own software.

You will need to use a slicer program to convert the 3D model files (.stl) to gcode. Many slicers are free (Cura, Slic3r, etc.) and a few are commercial software. Most of them have presets available for your specific printer. You will still need to tune specifics depending on material type (ABS, PLA, PETG) and the model itself.

thingiverse is free to everyone, printer doesnt matter. There are other places as well that have models. Some for sale and some free.
I dont know anything about 3d design and have just been downloading files and printing them.
