Along with cutting out full pieces of glass that cover the entire top and bottom i also cut out a few 1.5-2" wide strips to reinforce the leading edge and act as a spar. From right to left we have 80", 60", 40" and the large last piece is 20" but it goes the entire depth of the wing to make the ring join much stronger.

I used super77 to apply all the layers

Now that the foam core is reinforced with fiberglass (much more rigid, i don't have to worry about breaking it) i traced out the top and bottom on the plastic mylar. The next step is to wax (6 times) the insides of both mylars and spray paint the insides of them. Than i will be ready for vacuum bagging.

I also finished up my emergency box giveaway for sunset.

Following Mike Patey's example of cooling his shop down to get more working time i cooled my shop down to about 55 or so and bagged the wings. Made a few mistakes which ill point out later, but it will still be a flyable plank, just some cosmetic issues and things that will cause me some work later.

While that is setting i started working on attaching the vertical stabilizer and making some foam board filler parts for the back of the fuselage. I used epoxy and cabosil to fillet everything and cover the foam board. I will sand that down and put some light fiberglass over that to strengthen it.

Been slowly working on the other wing. All the stuff i showed previously but now mirrored. Also started thinking more seriously about colors think i have a final graphic to go for on the fuselage. The bottom white i am planning on being vinyl to give it some sliding protection.
Hoping my work gets closed so i can get some work on it lol
