But issue with motors is that u can only go as fast as ur props pitch speed.

Variable pitch. Faster you go the more pitch you command. Within reason, Like helicopter blades but vertical.

Faster you go, the more annoying problems you have to solve that don't matter at 100mph. Above 400 there's compression issues that messes with aerodynamics.

Don't get me wrong, I wanna see you succeed. I just kinda know how much work this is going to be. It's enough for me to not even try.

I know the amount of work involved and understand why its not everyday why people are doing this but for now Iv dropped 400 and will just try to reach a measly 300 mph with a carbon airframe and a streacker rs motor

Well so far iv only gone about 120 and now im hopefully gonna go 200

Yeah! Even 92mph is fast!

No but a friend of mine had a speed meter and we used that to see how fast it went.

I also just found out about this guy right here who is building with airplane that he wants to go supersonic with

so I have a lot of competition and seems like everyone is trying to break a speed record so I have 3 options either....

1 : Build the worlds fastest rc JET with a JET turbine.
2 : Build the world's fastest rc PULSE jet with a PULSE engine.
3 : Build the worlds fastest rc dynamic sor

with 3 there is a lot of aerodynamics involved and a lot of challenges and the speed to break is just crazy with a pulse jet I have to build my own engine but it would be cheap with option 1all I need is money and a aerodynamic airframe and just have to break 450 mph to break the record so yeaahhh.......

I’d go with option 2, they’re simple, powerful, and the fastest plane that has one could use some aerodynamical improvements.

Since im competing with engineers and people with years of experience im gonna just start reading books, start researching about aerodynamics and learn from these people who are trying to break the record and try to learn from the people who did it before me so for now, im gonna go and start buying up books and start studying aerodynamics and airplane design !

Good idea, I myself might give a pulse jet a try one day. But not for a while!

Thats the option im gonna go for now before attempting for the other ones im gonna start designing it and build it after I build my carbon pylon and foamboard ones and till then ill pick up a book.
