4s battery with the 2212 1250Kv motor and 20 amp esc?

I've been flying my FT Tutor with Turbo wing with a 2200 mAh 3s battery (9 x 4.5 prop). It feels a little listless in the sky. Can barely do a loop. I'm thinking I would like to put in a 1300 mAh 4s battery. I still have a lot to learn about motor, battery, esc combos. Is what I'm thinking of doing acceptable or a disaster in the making?

4s should help quite a bit. You might want to bump up to a 30A ESC too.
