This month my Kwad Box came with an iSDT 150W smart lipo charger. It's a pretty sweet tiny travel charger.
It accepts a 9-32V input.
I already have a 12V car adapter and a 12V 3A tiny AC/DC wall wart, but I wanted to pickup a more powerful AC/DC power supply to use the iSDT as a travel parallel charger.
So I took a trip to Goodwill and found a used Xbox 360 power supply for $5!!!!
It's 12V 12.1A. Perfect for this charger to be able to charge a 4S at up to the max 8A
Step 1: remove the casing of the proprietary Xbox plug
Step 2: cut the wires. There are three yellow (12V), three black (GND), and a red & blue (signal wires)
Step 3: remove the rubber that keeps the wire from bending right near the plug
Step 4: twist together the yellow wires, the black wires, and the red & blue wire
Step 5: solder
Step 6: heat shrink the red & blue and tuck it out of the way
Step 7: solder the XT-60
Step 8: heatshrink
Step 9: charge!!!
