A "instrument" asset im glad ive got. Its a digital levelling meter , and its not big, as a levelling ruler. Then i can find any angle correctly everywhere on a build easy, and check if eg. wing got correct on both sides, incident measure, and so on. Aliex*** for a $8- $10.

Hatch to the batterybox, and reciver eg. If remember i set up sides to the batterybox on the central internal "plate". There it was done at center with a width of 40mm between. It was just to cut it out on top center. Its done at an angle so the top of hatch will always be bigger than the bottom, at all sides. In front its cutted by the first former in front of wing, At next former rearward its cutted STILL AT ANGLE trough the former too, and approx 40-50mm more at rear.
Then i wants to treat the inside with either some woodglue or epoxyglue, thats for ensure it keeps its shape.
When dried , cut out a column into the first former to fit a tongue glued at the front of hatch underside. Then cut out a small slit at the other end a bit into the hatch. There the "U"- shape on a metalrod/pushrod is set inside, and a strip of foamboard is glued on at underside of hatch and metalrod. (as on scetch) Then you got a hatchlock!

I hope the "last parts" here, gives someone the extra wanted in help for a possible own build.
The last one here, was pictures by building another model , with close to only the tailfin changed, from a 57´Chevy style, to a 59´Cadillac styled fin. And well, the Chevy i did build without ailerons.....the Caddy, without rudder but have ailerons. Yeah, yeah a minor change in style of the canopystyle and wingshape too.

And you know.. the best known on the Caddy is a "Pink" Cadillac 😁 It got a pink/magentastyle color depending on light.

i forgot one thing..... the undercarriage!
the "leg" is a sutited hard nice woody paintstick, who is fitted to the main spar in the wing. A angled cut on top, fits over the spar, and keep it angled forward. (thats reason for using also plywood spar)
inside on the paintstick a glued on rod goes down to the wheel.
The wheelpants are made of two foamboards glued together, with a shape of the wheel cut out + the outer style. On this two again, one more foamboard on both sides can be used, without cutout for the wheel, before shaping all together.... or using just a karton on both sides.

That's some next level stuff there!
Thanks Brian B.
I hope this builds could show its not just one way to build a nice plane, even in style as the FT Master builds.
Its always possible to try, to use creativity to get a thing as you wants.
Here i could build it as the FT masterplanes by calculate/measure to make the different fuselage skin "rings", but when you make a unique (one-time ? ) build from scratch, i found my way here can help do it more easy, and the techniques used showed good in the Couzinet Racer build thread. Yeah, this techniques too needs extra work in sanding and possible wall filler use, as needs normally by the master builds too, if wants sleek skins with close to not show the skin connections. Also its easier make soft nice curbing of the skins by less use of formers/skin connections as by the skin"rings" by FT master builds.

Use your creativity to reach your goal in build of a plane. Specially if wants a planebuild without plans to get.
Be creative, and have a very sharp thin knifeblade , thats what needs to make a nice plane of foamboard! :giggle:
