64mm EDF F117 - EDF Stealth jet

My 1st attempt at designing an EDF Jet!

Tested with the Powerfun 64mm EDF ,11 blade 3500kv motor, and x2 1300 mah 4s batteries in parallel. ( A single 2600mah 4s battery will probably be easier to work with though)

All plans joined up, parts defined and laid out - managed to fit it all on just 4 sheets of foamboard. This is a good thing as 4 sheets is all I had in the house and unlikely to be get my hands on anymore Flitetest foamboard for a while as the model shops are closed under the current Covid-19 regulations.

This is quite a different build from a Bixler type standard one so I will be taking my time and doing a lot of test fitting :)
Don't want to hijack this thread so the build will be here.

First question!!!
On the bottom of the Vee-Tails there's a section in green, with two different crosshatching - what is this representing?
Thanks in advance,
Caroline
The reason it looks like two different crosshatching is just the line style it was set to. This cross hatch is to signify chamfer on the side opposite the score cut. Look at the 2nd to last picture above where the vee tail joins there is a small spacer. In front of that I bend the pieces together and glue them at the chamfer. This helps the airflow at the exhaust.

Ok, sweet - I have a 64mm edf but it’s fairly old and the only specs I have are that it makes 500g of thrust on 3s. I tested it on 4s and it had significantly more thrust but it did get warm with continuous full throttle so we’ll see if it holds up...
According to the specs on amazon the edf I am using puts out 940 grams on 3s and 1400 grams on 4s.

So I wrecked the F117 today. Not sure what the problem is. Didnt change much just added paint. Other than that the only difference was a lack of wind today. After tossing it it just went vertical and I couldn't push it forward out of the climb. I let off the throttle and came back down on the nose. Did the same thing twice and the 2nd time broke a piece of the Rx. Looks like I will have to cut off the front end and replace it before I try to fly this again.😩
