8s Parallel board on a 6s balance charger

Hey guys. quick question:

I recently picked up a 8s paraboard that of course has an 8s balance lead stemming from it. so how do I connect that to the 6s lead in my charger? I have an additional 6s balance cable, but can I simply plug it in aligning the negatives to the 8s port?

The idea will work, but I'm not sure if you want it like you have it on the negative end or shifted to the positive end.
The way to test, plug one battery in to any balance port. Then use your cell checker to test your 6S balance lead. If it reads the correct voltage, this right way to plug in.
