Hey everyone,

So I've recently fallen in love with seaplanes, so I decided to start a Canadair Water Bomber. It's going to be a while until I'm done (school interferes), but it will be grand when done.

Waterproof DTFB Canadair CL-415 Specs:

Has blunt, standard 3 fold wing. Double folded elevator. Shaping under fuselage for taxiing help. Curved pontoons with slight deflection. Doubled up supports.
-1/12.4 scale wing, everything else darn close
-90in wingspan (3 horizontal sheets of foam)
-~8in main fuselage width (narrows)
-64in fuselage length with tail
-12 high at beginning of fuse, 28.3 at tail

Hi,
great Project! Subscribed! I have seen a lot of this in Spain, where my parents came from. Every year they are a lot of Fire and the Spanish Canadair flys every day in the Summertime.

I've always wanted to see one! Up here in California, a modified DC10 Supertanker usually does the fighting, but we have a QAV-10 Bronco and some S2T's as well.

I regret to inform you that I am postponing this build, as I don't have enough waterproof foam to finish(the rest is reserved for another giant build, a secret one at that). I'm thinking that this might be a FliteFest project, but I WILL NOT forget it.
