I’m in the middle of a house renovation project, and discovering there is only so much DIY you can do before the urge to do ANYTHING else becomes overpowering! So - I need a quick and simple build to maintain my sanity. Foamboard to the rescue!
I decided to build something a bit bigger. The biggest plane I’ve done so far is a Bearcat with a 1.7m wingspan, so I decided it was time to reach the “2.0m” threshold. The subject is the Miles Hawk Speed Six - carefully chosen as it’s a really good looking plane with almost no compound curves, so an ideal foamboard subject. A few hours have got a basic fuselage structure. Need to figure out how to do the landing gear next…
