A Foamie Build On A Cold Day

Too cold to be outside so…stay in the heated shop and make a foam board rc airplane! Still need to get the electonics in. Found the plans online. Used the cnc as a pen plotter with a 3d printed holder to mark the parts and then a utility knife to cut them out (much cleaner than using a router end mill). Add a diy vacuum table and we’re good to go! Fun stuff.

Can you direct me to those plans? What electronics di you all recommend for this plane?
Here's the video of it from about 12 years ago. An interesting chunky floaty thing. Sometimes I find plans and go through the quick build process with scrap stuff just to see how it comes together. I learn on every build. I found a warp/bend in the tail section I didn't like and during a quick motor test a switch was momentarily tapped, and well...we've all been there and know how quickly a plane can decide it wasn't meant to be. I may rebuild or move on to a different design. And, sometimes it's fun to mix and match with foamies; find a wing you like, a fuse, or whatever and see how those parts play with other designs. It's all just tinkering.

I'm finishing V3 plans with a few mods like wider wing with less polyhedral, shorter vert stab, raised tail boom, reinforcements etc. I'll add to Resources after completed.
