In 2016 the RCME magazine published plans for Peter Millar's Ballerina. A 53" balsa and ply sports plane intended for glow IC and a weight of about 70oz.
I decided to build an identical version but using 2 &3mm Depron sheet.
After several accidents and rebuilds I ended up with this hand launch/belly land version that well suites my rough grass field.
At only 853g (30oz) it is under half the intended Ballerina weight so it flies really slowly. It need pretty calm weather too!
Actually fun to fly and quite aerobatic.
Its touch down speed is quite ridiculous!
