good luck on your build. for me the hardest part iv had to experience with this micro quads is the space for the motor/esc.. you almost have to direct solder the ESC to the motor.. and 1106 motors are a waste of money..
but i guess everyone knew that but me. LOL.. laughs

I just built a Diatone 160 (see crafty dan's under 250 thread), and i'm in no hurry to build anything smaller anytime soon. Good luck!!

You will love the Shreiker, it's a fun little quad. I never posted a build thread, but here are some of my pictures if you want to see how it came out or for reference.

They are RotorX 3040t props. I believe RotorX was the first company to make 3" tri-props, but HQ also makes 3" tri-props now too (HQ3030x3). They are becoming easier and easier to find, now that these micro/nano/sub 250g builds are becoming more popular.

They are definitely a great prop for the 1306 motors. I've got the DYS 1306 3100kv on 4S with these props on my Shreiker, and it is amazingly fast for its size. I also run these props with DYS 1306 4000kv on 3S on my 3D printed Comet 150 and they are great in that application too.

I disagree saying that 1105 motors are a waste. You can get a Sputnik 117, strap on the RotorX 1105B 6000kv and get an 8:1 thrust ratio, whilst making your quad less like to break anything than a quad running 1306.

thats cool. what i should of said.. the DYS 1104 were not very durable for me there for a waste of money ( maybe i just got unlucky ). good to know others are getting good performance out of the 1105. im waiting for a replacement motor now.

i just used generic nylon stand offs.. you can get them at the local hardware store.. but its cheaper just to buy a bunch of them at once.
i bought a bunch in a pack. need to buy some more soon probably.
