those props are making me nervous.

But yes, if your esc's are equipped with bec's (if they have 3 wires coming from the esc like a servo) than you can use the esc's to power the naze. A separate 5v regulator is usually preferred because your esc's bec can mess up your signal going to the naze (feedback).

i actually didnt realize i had props on i took them off though so i have a survival chance(thanks for letting me know)

Okay i have almost everything done i just need to re-solder one motor lead then mount everything up the Rx is bound already i just need to setup the board if i have time During the days of my finals i might get that soldered

cook, look forward to you maiden.. just remember when you get older to help out a young fellow.. that is how it usually works. or at least in my experience.. :) well to be honest age dose not really matter..

okay so now that i fixed some of the solder joints i have to take out the extra breakouts and then wait for the stand offs

I've don't that...Left one plugged in over the weekend... :-(

thats different its not that much of a manual error.Anyway i nedd to get standoff screws to mount everything i keep getting the wrong size standoffs for the screws i have so im going to give it one more try

Standoffs as in the posts that connect the top and bottom plate or for mounting your flight controller?

to hold the pdb and board from the bottom plate if i dont get this done soon i wil have to wait until i build my new mysetery quad(will be revealed soon)

aren't they just 3mm standoffs or am I missing something? Your local hardware store should have them in the metric hardware section. I sometimes take my quad into the store with me and figure things out there.

oh yeah they would be but the screws for the board monting standoffs didnt come with the kit so i could virtually use anything i want
