I decided to see if I could make a clone of the Alula glider.. so I found Dave Reap's plans online in the RC Groups forum.. and gave it a shot.

Can you share the link to where you found them? I have not found them. Thank You

Hey guys. i know this is a pretty epic necro.. BUT i wanted to just put this here as i am about to start my Alula and Weasel builds. my plan is to get both the new ones when they come out so i want to see how mine compare!

Awesome! I built an Alula Clone from those plans last summer. It was definitely a little different than the FT builds I'm used to. I tried DLG with it and sloping on a beach, but wasn't all too successful. Thinking about it now though, I think it was more pilot error and my CG was probably off. I should bring it back this summer though!

well once the bits turn up ill open a thread in here and youre more than welcome to brainstorm with me to find out why. im sure ill hit plenty of roadblocks.
