Good morning everyone,
I'm not a prolific poster on forums so dont be surprised if you dont hear from me for short periods,
I am coming upto retirement and thought that I could recommence a hobby that I did as a teenager (more time)
We didnt have foam board or hotglue guns and sometimes spent many years before our modelling skills came to fruition (balsa, doped tissue,etc)
its good to see that costs are now less inhibitive and with modern techniques things happen quicker.

If I ask what could be thought of as stupid questions then bear with me because some of this stuff is new to me

Coming from a time of rubber band actuators ( aka servos ) some of the new stuff is a large learning curve, especially some of the electronics. Now with YouTube and the many forums at least the information is out there just finding it from a trusting source is the tough part.

This for me is one of the trusted sources with lot of good people.

I'm a teenager and I just started like, I dunno, roughly 1.5 years ago. The FT way has made the hobby much more doable for me.

Same here, started March of 2024 I think. Flite test made it affordable and fun!
