Poor EFX Racer

The weekend started out well.



But then the pilot decided to brave some very bad temperatures to go flying.

The flight was ok but the landing not so good.



The damage was limited to the cowl and some other cosmetic hash.



I have spare parts coming in later this week but will not fly this plane again till the spring.
I actually came close to doing some pretty serious harm to my hands so for the rest of the winter I have to be careful.

Too bad andre... I am half debating making a ground station with umbilical system for power and signal that I can operate froim inside the car. an FPV antenna and LRS system. Can make winter flying a whole lot more interesting

Failure To Launch

Had some issues last night getting the EFX in the air.

Well I guess the stress of having a brand new plane is gone but I'm annoyed for sure.

Repairs under way.

On my maiden I threw underhand and within about a second had a broken in half plane. After that I've thrown it overhand at about a 45 degree angle and have had no problems. Throw like you're trying to strike out a major league hitter. This is on 4s.
