Andre, I recently crashed my P-40, but it is an amazing plane. If I can offer any advice though it would be to re-position the Aileron and elevator connection rods to the second most inner hole on the servo horns. It really made a world of difference. I can't take any credit for the change as it was in the RCinformer Youtube review. But it did help tremendously. I'll probably buy another here in the next year or so, as it was my favorite plane in the air, I just need to find some better places around me to fly it.

Hi everyone,

I have ordered one.
I like this plane very much but I have not flown a plane for quite sometime.
I was thinking to fly this plane with 3S. Anybody have tried this?
What do you think guys. Is it enough power to fly with 3S.

I finally flew the P-40!

A whole year after I received the plane I finally did the maiden flight.

No drama other then I went to put the gear up and switched over to high rates instead.

Video coming soon.

It took you to September for maiden?

Andre, we really like the same planes ;)

What do you think, how does she fly compared to the Spit?

I'm just as bad or worse. The draw of the warbids is strong yet guess how many I actually own... none unless my micro T-28 counts. I built a profile F-18 but I don't think that counts either, at least not in my mind. The F-4U has always been the one I've wanted but to scared to get it fearing crashing it. Nevertheless, one day it will be mine... and someday an EDF F-14 too.
