So this finally happened. The E-flite® Pawnee Brave Night Flyer arrived at my local hobby shop.

Stay tuned as I do a full review on this plane.

I have high expectations for the Pawnee.
Will it meet them?

Initial Review/Friday Flying Update.

Soooooo . . . without the lighting is it a cowardly night flyer?

(Yes, I know, Pawnee Brave is the name of the full scale airframe. HH's run-on name just struck me as funny.)

Did it come with those wood/sheet screws or is that your own "hop up"?
Details coming but the stock hardware is really poor and there are no spares.

So after stripping out 2 screws installing the landing gear I swapped over to some better screws.

No spare hardware seems to be the trend these days
First time for me. The Sukhoi Su-29 has spare screws and so did my Durafly P-40.

I would not had an issue either but the screws were really weak.
Heads were tearing up super easily.
So I took my time when I did the tail install.

Tail looked like the same setup as the apprentice. Just as a FYI keep an eye on those for the first couple of flights. I've seen a few apprentice's where the they need to be tightened some more after a few flights after everything settles into place.

Super advice! Thank you.
