Any Aucklanders want to build/fly the FT way?

Hi,

I’m in Auckland and have a young family. A big fan of FT and hoping to catch up with other like minded flyers.

I did mainly foamie slope soaring about 12 years ago before taking a break from the hobby. I’m re-enthused over the past couple of years and get out flying whenever I can, which is infrequently with family and work commitments.

Pls PM me if you want to catch up for some building/flying.

Hi Matthew. It’ll be great to have another flyer on our shores! I don’t know if any of those jobs going at the moment but you never know. When are you planning to come and do you have any potential employers in mind? What city were you thinking of settling in?

although if we can't find a job/jobs then I have the full intention of buying us into New Zealand as entrepreneurs

Well, I think you will find New Zealanders very welcoming - we like to have the occasional braai and I've even been known to put on some boerewors. :)

I think NZ is reasonably good for entrepreneurship although for big ventures we have to improvise a bit more and work with smaller bugdets than some of our overseas friends.

I hope we can go out for a fly some day.
