Any chance this will fly?

As of now, 28" wingspan, Kfm foil. It is a standoff scale of a 1950's proposal that was never built.
I've never designed anything that flys so any input is appreciated.

The Pun Jet, Long EZ, and it's a tractor style as well, I am guessing it will fly just like both those but have better low speed tendencies, being the prop wash will be supporting the flight/control surfaces

ANYTHING can fly given proper amounts of power to just drag it thru the air. Look at racequads hehe. There are many stubby planes like that flying about.

Almost reminds me of a cri cri except it doesnt have the two tiny motors out front.

I don't know that I'd think of it like too much vertical stabilizer. More like "large flight surfaces for flying in knife edge forever". Will be very interesting to see how it performs!

Really it's just FB, build it, balance it, and toss it up. You might like it. If it doesn't work and you want to redesign it, make the changes it needs to fly.

I agree maybe if you remove the bottom of the stabilizer would look nicer too.

You know what would look really cool, if it was me building it. Remove the center Vstab, extend the wing Vstabs back to behind the fuse like a twin boom and make and Hstab back there for pitch authority. A twin boom stubby tractor, then paint it John Deere green and yellow lol

This made me laugh, I had a farmer friend who did this with his experimental plane.
Anyway, the shape is pretty fixed for now as it is a standoff scale. Perhaps later it can evolve into a full fantasy bird.

YES! I want to see this! Make it happen!

It should go real easy if you get the CG right. Also, with the vertical stabs present, it will control the yaw axis and roll rate for you. If not, add a rudder control.

Cool, I would make it as large as possible with quite a bit of reflex and keep it at lower throttle for a while.
